Tracking#
Which tracking script do I install?#
The one under SettingsConnectTracking & install. It's a single script tag for your site, with step-by-step guides for common tools. See Install the tracking script.
I built my site with Lovable, Bolt or Cursor. How do I install it?#
Tracking & install has ready-made prompts for AI builders including Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Cursor, Windsurf and Claude Code. See Install with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor and other AI builders.
Does it work with GoHighLevel order forms?#
Yes. A HighLevel version of the script captures the buyer's email on your order form, and the sale is matched to the affiliate when the charge reaches your connected Stripe account. See GoHighLevel, Kajabi and other checkouts.
Can affiliates get credit through a promo code?#
Yes. An affiliate's Stripe promotion code credits the sale even with no click and no script. See Track sales from promo codes.
Branding and white-label#
Which plan do I need for white-label branding?#
Growth or higher. Branding, a custom domain, Promoter Pages and hiding the Powered by affixo badge all start on Growth. See What white-label branding includes.
Can the affiliate portal use my own domain?#
Yes, on Growth and up. Set it under SettingsBrandAddress & embed. See Use your own domain.
How do I remove "Powered by affixo"?#
On Growth and up, switch off Show "Powered by Affixo" in Branding & portal. It also hides itself once your portal uses your own logo or domain. See Show or hide Powered by affixo.
Can I put the affiliate dashboard inside my own app?#
Yes. Address & embed has an embeddable affiliate dashboard, and there's an embeddable signup form too. See Embed the affiliate dashboard or signup form in your site.
Promoter Pages#
What is a Promoter Page?#
Promoter Pages (called Partner pages in your dashboard) give each affiliate a personal landing page for your program, with a button that carries their referral link. They're on Growth and up. See What are Promoter Pages?.
Can affiliates change their page?#
Only what you allow. Under What affiliates can change you switch on or off their photo, name and a one-line intro. See Control what affiliates can change.
Do Promoter Pages help my SEO?#
No. They're set to noindex so they don't compete with your own site. A page visit doesn't record a click either. Tracking starts when the visitor clicks the main button.
Campaigns and commissions#
Can I pay different rates per product?#
Yes. A campaign can have a catch-all rate plus separate rates per product or billing cadence. See Pay different rates per product or plan.
Can I make a campaign invite-only?#
Yes. Under Who can join this campaign, choose Anyone, I approve each or Invite only. The default campaign can't be invite-only. See Choose who can join a campaign.
What happens when I pause a campaign?#
Its links stop crediting, and new referrals made while it's paused earn nothing. Renewals on existing referrals keep paying. See Pause a campaign.
Can affiliates move up to a better rate automatically?#
Yes. Tier rules move affiliates between campaigns based on their results. See Move affiliates up with tier rules.
Can I run contests or offer prizes instead of cash?#
Yes. Contests are on every plan, and the Reward library holds non-cash rewards like merch. See Run a contest and Offer non-cash rewards.
Affiliates and referrals#
What's in an affiliate's Actions menu?#
Open an affiliate and click Actions: New referral, New commission, Edit, Add note, Impersonate, Override commission, Add to campaign, Move to campaign, Suspend, Archive and Delete. See Use the affiliate Actions menu.
What's the difference between Suspend, Archive and Delete?#
Suspend stops their links crediting until you reactivate them. Archive hides them from your list and stops new earnings, but they can still sign in and collect what they've earned. Delete removes them for good, and only works if they have no commissions or payouts. See Suspend, archive or delete an affiliate.
What does Impersonate do?#
It opens the affiliate portal exactly as that affiliate sees it. A banner shows while you're in it, and Exit impersonation takes you back. Starting and ending it are recorded in the audit log. See See what an affiliate sees.
Can I give one affiliate a different commission rate?#
Yes. Admins can choose Override commission in the Actions menu. It replaces campaign, product and plan rates for that affiliate's new commissions, and past commissions keep their rates. See Give one affiliate a custom rate.
What's the difference between Add to campaign and Move to campaign?#
Add to campaign gives the affiliate a second campaign to promote, with its own links and rewards. Move to campaign changes their primary campaign. They keep their other memberships. See Move an affiliate to another campaign.
Can I credit an affiliate for a sale the tracking missed?#
Yes. New referral adds a customer to an affiliate by hand and can import that customer's past Stripe sales. New commission records a sale or a bonus for an exact amount. See Add a referral manually and Add a commission manually.
A referral went to the wrong affiliate. Can I fix it?#
Yes. Use Move to another affiliate on the referral. You can move it going forward only, or with its unpaid history. See Move a referral to another affiliate.
Payouts and tax forms#
Which payout methods can I offer?#
PayPal, Wise and crypto. PayPal can be sent from inside affixo through your own PayPal account. See Set up payout methods and schedule.
Can I hold payouts until I have a tax form?#
Yes. Turn on Hold payouts until a form is on file. Affiliates upload a W-9, W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E. See Collect tax forms.
Emails#
Which emails do affiliates get automatically?#
Event emails such as Invite to join, Application approved, Payout sent and New referral, each with its own switch. See Emails your affiliates get.
Can emails come from my own domain?#
Yes, on Growth and up. Every plan can set the sender name and reply-to. See Set your sender name and email domain.
Promo kit#
What can I give affiliates to share?#
Banners, logos and swipe copy you upload or write, plus AI posts that carry each affiliate's own link. See Give affiliates promo material with the Promo kit.
How many AI posts can I generate?#
Each press of Generate is one attempt: 3 a month on Free, 10 on Starter and 25 on Growth and Scale. AI posts stay as drafts until you approve them.
Marketplace and Discovery#
How do I get listed in the Marketplace?#
Fill in your listing under Growth › Marketplace and publish it. You need a paid plan. The Verified badge starts on Growth and Featured rotation on Scale. See List your program in the Marketplace.
Does Discovery email people for me?#
No. Discovery searches the web and YouTube, ranks prospects by fit and drafts a message. You send it yourself. It's on Growth (100 credits a month) and Scale (300). See Find new affiliates with Discovery.
Sub-affiliates#
Can I run a two-tier program?#
Yes, on Growth and up. Turn on Let affiliates recruit under SettingsProgramSub-affiliates, then set an override on a campaign. See Set up sub-affiliates (two-tier).
How much does the recruiter earn?#
The override you set on the campaign, on each sale their sub-affiliate makes. A $100 sale with a 5% override pays the recruiter $5.
Team and roles#
Can I limit what a teammate can do?#
Yes. Pick Admin, Program manager, Finance or Viewer when you invite them. See Invite your team and set roles.
Can I see who changed something?#
Yes. Admins can check the Audit log for sensitive actions like payouts and role changes. See Check the audit log.
Importing from another platform#
Can I import from FirstPromoter, Rewardful, Tolt or GoHighLevel?#
Yes, on every plan, under SettingsWorkspaceImport & migration. There's a CSV importer for anything else. See Switching to affixo.
Will my affiliates be emailed when I import them?#
No. Imports are silent and pause affiliate email until you resume it. See Keep your old affiliate links working for making sure their links still credit them.
