Install with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor and other AI builders
Copy a prompt written for your AI builder and let it add affixo tracking, signup events and the checkout step for you.
If your site was built with an AI tool, you don't need to find the right file yourself. affixo writes a prompt for your builder with your snippet, the signup event and the checkout step already in it. You paste it in, answer a couple of questions, and publish.
Get the prompt for your builder#
Open AI tool guides
Go to SettingsConnectTracking & install and open AI tool guides.
Choose your builder
Click your tool. There are guides for Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Base44, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Claude.ai, Codex, Gemini CLI and VS Code Copilot.
Pick how you take payments
Under How do you take payments?, choose Checkout Sessions, Payment Links, Buy Button, Pricing Tables, GoHighLevel funnel or Hosted elsewhere. Not sure? Leave Auto-detect and the prompt tells your builder to work it out from the code.
Copy the prompt
Under 1. Add tracking, click Copy prompt. Paste it into your builder's chat with your project open.
Answer its questions
The prompt asks where people sign up and which page shows after a purchase, so the events land in the right place.
Publish and test
Publish your site, open the live version, and run Test your tracking.
What the prompt asks your builder to do#
The prompt has four parts, so you know what to expect in the changes:
- Tracking script in the head of every page or the root layout.
- Signup event after a successful signup, using the real email of the person who signed up.
- Sale event on the page after payment, which tags the buyer. The amount and commission still come from your connected Stripe account.
- Checkout step, which depends on how you take payments. It makes the checkout carry the affixo visitor id, or for hosted checkouts, explains that the sale is matched by email. See Make sure Stripe sales are credited.
It also tells the builder to use amounts in dollars rather than cents, pass an order id so a refresh doesn't count twice, and not to add any other tracking code.
Heads up
Most AI builders show you a preview before you publish. Visits from a preview or from localhost don't count. affixo only marks tracking as installed after a visit from your published site.
Other ways to get a prompt#
- Copy AI prompt at the top of Tracking & install gives you a general prompt that works in any AI builder.
- During setup, the Connect your website step asks What did you build your website with? and gives you Copy setup instructions for that tool.
- If something fails during Test your tracking, Copy AI fix prompt gives you a prompt written for that exact failure.

Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Base44, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Claude.ai, Codex, Gemini CLI and VS Code Copilot. For anything else, use Copy AI prompt at the top of Tracking & install, which works with any builder.
Yes. Every prompt is built for your workspace and already contains your snippet with your public key, so the builder doesn't need to ask for it.
Publish, then open your live site. The status line at the top of Tracking & install changes to Tracking installed once a visit arrives. A snippet that only runs in the builder's preview shows Test hits from localhost only. Then run Test your install for the full check.
On guides for coding agents such as Cursor or Claude Code, you can also connect the affixo MCP server. That lets the agent read and set up your program for you. It's not needed for tracking.
In the setup steps, choose Send it to my developer or AI tool, then pick Someone built it for me / I'm not sure. Click Copy setup request and send it. It explains what to change and asks them to publish.
