Switching to affixo

What carries over from your old affiliate platform, which importer to use, and the order to do things in.

Updated October 20, 2026

Moving from another affiliate platform takes an import, the tracking script and a quick test. Your affiliates, their referral codes and, depending on the source, their history come with you, and links they've already shared keep crediting them.

Where the importers live#

Go to SettingsWorkspaceImport & migration. There are four tabs:

| Tab | Use it for | How it connects | |---|---|---| | GoHighLevel | HighLevel's Affiliate Manager | Your affiliate export, an API token, or both | | FirstPromoter | FirstPromoter | A v2 API token and Account-ID | | CSV file | Any other platform, or a spreadsheet | A CSV with at least an email column | | Other platforms | Rewardful and Tolt | An export file or an API key |

Every importer previews first. Nothing is written until you apply it.

The order that works#

  1. Connect Stripe and create your campaigns. Imported affiliates need a campaign to land in.
  2. Run the import for your platform. Check the preview, then apply.
  3. Note any changed codes. If a code was already taken, the importer gives that affiliate a new one and lists it so you can tell them.
  4. Install the tracking script on your site, in place of your old platform's.
  5. Test an old link. The FirstPromoter and GoHighLevel tabs include a cookie test that opens one of your real links and confirms the right affiliate gets credit.
  6. Settle up in your old platform. affixo starts owing $0 for imported history.
  7. Turn affiliate email back on under GrowthEmail, and announce the move.

Heads up

Imports pause all affiliate email in your workspace, so nobody gets a surprise welcome. Your affiliates hear nothing from affixo until you click Resume under GrowthEmail.
