Set up payout methods and schedule
Choose how affiliates can be paid, when they become due, the minimum payout, and connect PayPal to send from inside affixo.
Payout setup decides three things: which payout methods affiliates can choose, when they become due, and whether you can send PayPal payments without leaving affixo. Do this before your first month closes.
Set up payouts#
Open Payout setup
Go to SettingsMoneyPayout setup, or click Payout setup on the Payouts page.
Choose the methods you offer
Under How affiliates get paid, switch each method between Offered and Not offered. The choices are PayPal, Wise and Crypto. Keep at least one on.
Pick coins and networks for crypto
If you offer Crypto, tick the coins and networks you can send under Coins and networks, like USDC on Base or USDT on Tron. Crypto with nothing ticked can't be saved.
Pick a default method
Default method (PayPal, Wise, or Manual (record only)) is pre-selected when you build a payout batch and shown on the Payouts page.
Set when affiliates get paid
Under When affiliates get paid, enter a Minimum payout threshold and choose a Payout schedule. Note for affiliates (optional) is shown next to the schedule in their portal, for example "Payouts go out on the 1st of each month."
Save
A bar at the bottom lists your unsaved changes. Click Save changes, or Discard to undo them.
Payout schedule options#
- Net-15, Net-30 or Net-60: paid within 15, 30 or 60 days of month end. Net-30 is the default.
- Monthly: paid at month end.
- Manual: paid on request, when you build a payout.
Tax forms#
The Tax forms card has two switches that save as soon as you flip them:
- Collect tax forms shows affiliates a tax-form upload area. On its own it never holds a payout.
- Hold payouts until a form is on file leaves affiliates without a submitted or verified form out of payout batches until they upload one.

Connect PayPal for one-click payouts#
Get your PayPal app keys
Sign in to the PayPal Developer Dashboard with your own PayPal account. Open Apps & Credentials, pick Live or Sandbox, open or create an app, and copy its Client ID and Secret.
Connect
In the One-click PayPal payouts card, choose the Environment, paste the Client ID and Client secret, and click Connect PayPal.
Once connected, the card shows the connected app and whether PayPal's Webhook is Registered or Polling only. Either way, payout status updates reach affixo. Disconnect removes the connection.
Heads up
Use Sandbox (test) to try it with PayPal's test accounts. Live pays real money from your PayPal balance.

Not as a method affiliates can pick today. You can offer PayPal, Wise and Crypto. Affiliates who already saved a bank method still appear, and runs give you a payee list for them.
Affiliates must be owed at least this much before a payout is due. Anything under it carries forward to the next run until it's reached.
Your client secret is checked with PayPal, stored encrypted, and never shown again, not even to you. Payouts go from your own PayPal balance; affixo never holds your funds.
Yes. Choose Sandbox (test) as the environment and connect a PayPal sandbox app. Switch to Live with your live credentials when you're ready.
USDC, for example, exists on several networks with the same address format, and a transfer on the wrong network can't be recovered. You and the affiliate both pick the exact coin and network, so they always match.
Your program's payout currency, set in Settings › General. Payout amounts and the minimum threshold use it.
