Pay different rates per product or plan
Pay a different cut on yearly or one-time sales, give single products their own rate, or exclude products entirely.
Some sales are worth more to you than others. A yearly plan might earn a smaller cut than monthly, or one product might not pay commission at all. You set this in the campaign's Products and plans section, on top of the campaign rate.
Set rates by plan or product#
Open Products and plans
Go to Campaigns, click the campaign, then open Products and plans. The box at the top tells you what everything pays right now, for example "Everything pays 30% unless you change it here."
Set a rate per billing plan
In By billing plan, type a rate next to Monthly plans, Yearly plans or One-time products. A row you leave empty pays the Campaign rate. A row with its own figure shows Own rate. Click the X beside it to go back to the campaign rate.
Set a rate for one product
By product lists your products, synced from Stripe, each with a label: Campaign rate, Plan rate, Own rate, Excluded or Pays nothing. Click Edit on a product and choose Give it its own rate or Exclude it. Products you've already changed offer Edit its rate, Use the campaign rate or Stop excluding it.
Check a sale and save
Under Check a sale, pick a product and price to see exactly what an affiliate would earn and why. When it looks right, click Save changes.
Rate rules#
The Rate rules card at the bottom shows every rule behind the lists above, with all its controls. Click + Add product rate to add one by hand. Each rule applies to Products, One-time products, Monthly plans or Yearly plans, or uses the Exclude option to pay nothing on the products you pick.
New products wait for you#
When a new product shows up from Stripe, it appears under Waiting for review at the top of the section. Choose Enrol to pay on it in this campaign or Exclude to pay nothing. Either one takes effect when you save. A product that was sold to a referred customer but isn't in your catalog also offers Should not earn, which records that it never pays commission.
Heads up
If a product label says Pays nothing, sales of it earn affiliates nothing in this campaign. Check that list after you add products in Stripe.
