Use your own domain
Pick your free affixo address, then connect your own domain so affiliates sign in at something like partners.yourbrand.com.
Your affiliate portal has an address where affiliates sign up and sign in. Every program gets a free affixo address. On Growth and up you can connect your own domain instead, so the whole portal sits under your brand.
Plan
Connecting your own domain needs the Growth plan or higher. The Affixo address works on every plan.
Set your affixo address#
Go to SettingsAddress & embed. Under Portal address, type a name in
Affixo address and click Save changes. Your portal goes live at that name followed by
.affixo.dev straight away, with nothing to set up. Click Copy address to share it.
The name must be 3 to 40 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, not starting or ending with a hyphen. Some names are reserved, and each name can only be used once.
Connect your own domain#
Enter the domain
Under Custom domain, type the domain you want, for example partners.acme.com, and click
Connect domain.
Add the records at your DNS provider
affixo shows a table headed "Add these record(s) at your DNS provider, then click Verify". Copy each row's Type, Name and Value into your DNS provider (where you bought the domain, or Cloudflare and similar).
Click Verify
Back in affixo, click Verify. The status pill moves from Pending DNS to Connected once the records are found.
The records depend on the kind of domain:

Sometimes the table also lists a TXT record to prove you own the domain. Add it as well. Always copy the values shown in your own dashboard, since they're the ones affixo checks.
Heads up
DNS can take up to 48 hours to spread. If Verify says it isn't live yet, the records may still be on their way. Wait, then click Verify again.
To stop using the domain, click Disconnect. Your affixo address keeps working.

Yes. For a root domain affixo shows an A record. For a subdomain like partners.acme.com it shows a CNAME.
No. The Affixo address (yourname.affixo.dev) is free on every plan and always on. Only connecting your own domain needs Growth or higher.
Affiliates sign in on your domain, and Promoter Pages and the embeddable signup form use it too. A verified domain also hides the Powered by Affixo badge on plans that can hide it.
Each domain can be connected to one affixo workspace only. If it is connected somewhere else, disconnect it there first.
