Pause a campaign
Stop a campaign's links from crediting new referrals while renewals from existing customers keep paying.
Pausing a campaign stops its tracking. Its links stop crediting, and new referrals made while it's paused earn nothing. Customers your affiliates already referred are not affected: commissions on their renewals keep paying.
Pause a campaign#
Open the campaign's menu
Go to Campaigns and click the menu on the campaign's card.
Choose Pause

Pick a new default if asked
If this is your default campaign, choose a campaign under Pick a new default campaign. New affiliates land there while this one is paused. Only active campaigns that aren't invite only can take over. If you have none, create or resume one first.
Confirm
Click Pause campaign.
You can also pause from inside the campaign: open Name and status, set Status to Paused, and click Save changes.
What keeps working#
- Renewals from customers already referred still earn commission.
- Commissions already earned move through review and payout as normal.
- Affiliates stay in the campaign.
A paused campaign doesn't add new affiliates automatically, even if Add every new affiliate automatically is on.
Turn it back on#
Open the campaign's menu and click Activate. Tracking starts again from that moment.
Heads up
Sales from people who clicked a link while the campaign was paused are not credited later. If you only want to change the rate, edit the campaign instead of pausing it.

Yes, but you have to pick another active campaign as the new default first, so new signups have somewhere to land. An invite-only campaign can't be the new default.
Open the campaign's menu on the Campaigns page and click Activate, or set Status to Active in the campaign's Name and status section and save.
Both stop the campaign's links from crediting new referrals. Archiving also takes the campaign off your list (use Show archived to see it again). Commissions already earned carry on as normal either way, and you can unarchive any time.
