Give one affiliate a custom rate
Pay one affiliate their own percentage across all their campaigns, without changing the rate for anyone else.
Sometimes one affiliate deserves a better deal than the rest of their campaign, such as a partner who sends you a lot of customers. An override gives that affiliate their own percentage without touching the campaign.
Set an override#
Open the affiliate's profile
Go to Affiliates and click the affiliate.
Choose Override commission
Click Actions at the top of the profile and choose Override commission.
Check their current rates
The Current commission box lists each of their campaigns and the rates that apply today. If they already have an override, it shows as Individual override at the top.
Enter the new percentage and save
Under New commission (%), type a percentage from 0 to 100, then click Save override.
How the override works#
- It covers the affiliate across all their campaigns.
- It replaces campaign, product and billing-plan rates for their new eligible commissions.
- The campaign still decides which sales count and how long a commission pays. If a campaign pays on the first sale only, the override does too.
- It affects only this affiliate.
When you add a manual sale for this affiliate, the quote shows "their own rate" so you can see the override was used. A campaign's Rewards section also lists affiliates with their own rate under Who gets which rate.
Remove an override#
Open Override commission again and click Use campaign rates. New commissions go back to the campaign's rates. Commissions earned while the override was on keep the override rate.
Note
Only the Admin role sees Override commission. Other roles don't have it in the Actions menu.

Yes. An affiliate's own rate is the first thing affixo checks for each sale, so it replaces the campaign, product and billing-plan rates. The campaign still decides whether a sale is eligible, and how long the commission lasts.
Not from this dialog. Override commission takes a percentage from 0 to 100.
Open Override commission again and click Use campaign rates. Their campaign rates apply again to new commissions.
Only people with the Admin role can set an override. Ask an admin on your team to do it or to change your role.
Some overrides are set by a partner program rather than by hand. Those have to be managed there, so the dialog shows them but won't let you change them.
