Control what affiliates can change
Decide whether affiliates can set their own photo, name and one line on their Promoter Page, and take down a photo you don't want.
Each affiliate's Promoter Page (called Partner pages in your dashboard) uses your design and copy. You decide whether affiliates can personalize three things on top of it: their photo, the name on the page and one line about them. All three are allowed by default.
Plan
Promoter Pages are on the Growth plan and up.
Set what affiliates can change#
Open Partner pages
Go to SettingsBranding & portalPartner pages.
Choose the fields
Under What affiliates can change, switch each one on or off.
Save
Click Save in the page header.
| Switch | When it's on | When it's off | |---|---|---| | Photo | Their own photo shows. | No photo, their initials show. | | Name | The name they choose (up to 60 characters). | Your display name, else their account name. | | One line about them | Their own line (up to 80 characters). | Your tagline. |
Affiliate changes go live on their page right away, with no review step.
Where affiliates make their changes#
Affiliates edit their page in their portal under PromoteMy page, in a section called Make it yours. They can also reach it from their avatar menu (Change photo or Edit my page), or from the My page tab if you embed the dashboard in your app.
Photos can be JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 2 MB. Each one is cropped to a square before it's saved. A field you've switched off shows as set by your program.
Take down a photo#
If an affiliate uploads a photo you don't want on your brand:
- Open the affiliate from Affiliates.
- Click Remove photo in the header at the top of the profile. It only shows when they have a photo.
- Confirm with Remove photo.
Their page and portal show their initials instead. They can upload a new one unless you switch Photo off. You need permission to manage affiliates to remove a photo.
