Send a test referral
See a referral and its commission land in your dashboard in seconds, without real traffic or real money.
A test referral is the fastest way to see what happens when an affiliate sends you a customer. affixo records a sale or signup from a sample test affiliate through the same engine real sales use, so you see the referral land and the commission work itself out.
Send one#
Open the test dialog
Go to Referrals and click Send a test referral. With no referrals yet, the button is in the middle of the page.
Choose a sale or a signup
A sale is a paying customer and shows the commission your test affiliate would earn. A signup is a lead who hasn't paid yet, with no commission.
Set the amount
For a sale, enter the Sale amount in your currency, between 1 and 100,000. The test affiliate earns 25% of it.
Send it
Click Send test referral. The confirmation names the test customer and the test commission. The row appears in Referrals with a Test badge.

Test referrals come from Affixo sample (test). They're never paid, never counted in your totals and never send an email.
Clean up#
Test rows stay visible so you can check them. Tick Hide test above the list to drop them from view, or click Delete test referrals under the table. That deletes the test referrals you sent from here with their test commissions. Test rows from the setup tester or Stripe test mode stay, and real referrals are never touched.
Who can send them#
Sending and deleting test referrals needs permission to manage commissions, which Admins and Program managers have.

Test referrals go to a sample affiliate on a test campaign with a fixed 25% reward, so you always get a predictable number. Your real campaigns aren't touched.
Tick Hide test to drop them from the list, or click Delete test referrals under the table. Deleting removes the ones you sent with Send a test referral and their test commissions. It can't be undone.
