Review risk and fraud alerts

Use the Risk center to check duplicate accounts, network risk-list matches and buyer chargeback alerts, and decide on the commissions involved.

Updated October 20, 2026

Every new affiliate and every sale is checked. When something is worth a human look, it shows up in the Risk center. Nothing here bans anyone or holds money on its own: it's a list of things for you to decide on.

What shows up#

  • Flagged affiliates. Affiliates with duplicate or linked accounts (sharing details with another affiliate), or who appear on the network risk list because of fraud reported elsewhere.
  • Buyer review. Sales whose buyer matched the network risk list, and buyers whose chargeback was confirmed.

The tiles count Pending and Resolved alerts, Flagged affiliates, Duplicate accounts and On network risk list. Show flagged only narrows the table.

Review alerts#

Open the Risk center

Go to AffiliatesRisk.

Review buyer alerts

Under Buyer review, each alert shows the buyer, the order amount, the affiliate and the commission at stake. Click Approve commission or Deny commission, then Mark reviewed.

Review flagged affiliates

In the table, the Signals column shows what matched, like "2 duplicates" or Network risk list. Click a row to open the affiliate, and check their Risk tab.

Act on what you find

If you're not comfortable, suspend them from ActionsSuspend, or reject a pending applicant. If it's a false alarm, leave them as they are.

Hold risky commissions before they're approved#

Under SettingsProgramAttribution & approvals, on the Approvals tab, you can set up holds that send a commission to review instead of approving it:

  • Maximum auto-approve amount. Commissions above this amount are held for manual review. Leave it blank or 0 to turn it off.
  • Hold self-referrals for review. A matching buyer email, IP or device holds the commission.
  • Hold sales from buyers with a past chargeback. Buyers on the network risk list have their commissions held. Off by default.

Only workspace admins can change these. Held commissions wait in Commissions under Needs review.

Tip

Applicants get checked too. In the Pending queue, flags like Coupon site and Matches rejected show before you approve anyone. See Approve or reject applicants.

Questions

No. Everything in the Risk center is advisory. You decide what happens to each affiliate and each commission. A flagged buyer can be a false positive, like a real cardholder whose card was stolen somewhere else.

A shared list of fraud reported at other affixo programs. When one of your affiliates or buyers matches it, you see the match. Only a match is shared; the other program's data isn't shown to you.

Yes. Turn on Hold sales from buyers with a past chargeback under Settings › Program › Attribution & approvals, Approvals tab. It's off by default. The sale still goes through, and the commission waits for your review.

It's reversed automatically. The alert says so, and you only need to mark it reviewed.
