What is affixo?

affixo is affiliate software for businesses that take payments through Stripe. Affiliates share links to your site. When someone they sent buys, affixo credits the right affiliate, works out their commission, and lines it up for you to pay.

How it works#

1. Affiliates join your program through your affiliate portal and get a referral link.
2. Someone clicks a link and lands on your website, where the affixo tracking script notes which affiliate sent them.
3. They buy through Stripe. affixo hears about the sale from your connected Stripe account and matches it to the affiliate.
4. A commission is created using the rules in your campaign, for example 30% of every payment for 12 months.
5. You pay affiliates on your schedule, from your own payout account.

Refunds and chargebacks reverse the matching commission automatically, so you never pay out on a sale you didn't keep.

What you set up first#

Most programs are live in under an hour. In order:

• Install the tracking script on your website.
• Connect Stripe so sales are matched to affiliates.
• Test your install with a test referral.
• Create your first campaign to set what affiliates earn.
• Invite your first affiliates.

The dashboard has a Get started checklist in the sidebar that ticks each step off as you finish it, so you can always see what's left.

Where things live#

The left sidebar has two groups. Program holds Affiliates, Referrals, Campaigns and Growth. Money holds Commissions, Payouts and Reports. Everything else is under Settings, which is grouped into Program, Brand, Money, Connect and Workspace.
