How payouts work

How commissions become payable, when a payout is due, and how you pay affiliates from your own accounts.

Updated October 20, 2026

affixo works out what each affiliate is owed, groups it into a payout run on your schedule, and waits for you to approve it. You then pay from your own accounts. affixo never holds or moves your money; it keeps the record of what was paid, to whom and when.

From sale to payout#

  1. An affiliate earns a commission. Each sale they refer adds to what they're owed. Commissions belong to the calendar month the sale lands in.
  2. The month closes. Commissions from that month become payable, on your payout schedule.
  3. affixo prepares the payout. Everyone owed at least your minimum is included in a run, which waits for your approval. On the Manual schedule, you build the run yourself.
  4. You pay and record it. You send the money through PayPal, Wise or your crypto wallet, then record it in affixo.

The payout schedule#

Net terms are a payment deadline counted from the end of the month, not a waiting period per sale. A sale on August 1 and a sale on August 31 are both in the same run.

| Schedule | When a month's commissions are due | |---|---| | Net-15 | Within 15 days of month end | | Net-30 (default) | Within 30 days of month end | | Net-60 | Within 60 days of month end | | Monthly | At month end | | Manual | When you build a payout |

Set it under SettingsMoneyPayout setup. See Set up payout methods and schedule.

How you actually pay#

Affiliates choose a payout method in their portal from the ones you offer.

  • PayPal can be sent from inside affixo, through your own PayPal account, once you connect it under Payout setup. Without that connection, you download a PayPal mass-pay file and upload it to PayPal.
  • Wise gives you a file to upload to Wise.
  • Crypto gives you a list of addresses, coins and networks to send from your wallet.
  • Bank gives you a payee list with amounts and references. It holds no account numbers, so you send each transfer with the bank details you already have.

You can also pay anyone one by one and mark them paid. See Pay your affiliates.

Who isn't paid yet, and why#

The Payouts page explains every amount that's owed but not paid:

  • Below minimum. Under your minimum payout threshold. It carries forward until it's reached.
  • Held. No payout method, an invalid wallet address, or a missing tax form you require. These affiliates are kept out of every run so they can't block anyone else.
  • Not due yet. Earned in a month that hasn't closed.

Suspended, rejected and banned affiliates aren't paid. Archived affiliates, and affiliates who left your program, are still paid what they earned before.

Note

A refund or chargeback reverses the matching commission automatically. If it was already paid, it shows under Owed back in the Payouts history.

Questions

No. affixo never holds your funds. You pay from your own PayPal, Wise, crypto wallet or bank. affixo works out who is owed what, prepares the payout and keeps the record.

Commissions belong to the calendar month the sale happened in. Once that month closes, they're due on your payout schedule: within 15, 30 or 60 days of month end on Net terms, at month end on Monthly, or whenever you choose on Manual.

The commission is reversed. If it was already paid, the amount shows on the Payouts page under History, Owed back, so you can see who owes you money back.

The usual reasons are that they're under your minimum payout threshold, have no payout method, have an invalid wallet address, or are missing a tax form you require. The Payouts page lists held affiliates with the reason.

affixo charges no transaction fees and takes no percentage of payouts on any plan. Your payment provider's own fees still apply.
