Pay your affiliates
Approve a payout run, then send it through PayPal, upload a file to Wise or PayPal, pay from your wallet, or pay one by one and record it.
Each month, affixo prepares a payout run for everyone who's due and waits for you. Paying is two steps: approve the run, then send the money from your own accounts and record it. affixo never moves money on its own.
Before you start#
- Set your methods, schedule and minimum in Payout setup.
- You need the Admin or Finance role to approve and record payouts.
Pay a monthly run#
Open Payouts
Go to PayoutsCash payouts. The top box tells you what you owe and what's due. When a month is late, it offers a button named for that month, like Pay September now, which builds the run.
Review the run
The run marked Needs your approval lists each affiliate, their method and amount, and how each method is paid. Click Hold to leave someone out of this run (Release puts them back). The pencil next to an amount opens Edit commissions, where you untick commissions to keep them in the affiliate's balance for later.
Approve it
Click Approve and the total, then confirm with Approve payments. If you've connected PayPal, the button reads Approve and send and PayPal payments are submitted right away.
Pay
Click Continue payout. The Pay affiliates dialog groups payees by method. For each group, choose how to pay (see below).
Record it
When the transfers are done, confirm them in the dialog. Those affiliates are marked paid, and the run shows what's left.
Ways to pay each group#

Heads up
Crypto transfers can't be reversed. Send each one on the exact coin and network in the file. You can paste each Transaction ID before confirming, and it's kept as the payment's reference.
Pay outside the monthly run#
- Pay affiliates now on the Payouts page lets you pick affiliates and adds everything they're owed now, this month included, to your open payout run. People who can't be paid are shown with the reason.
- Pay now on an affiliate's Payouts tab lets you pick their commissions to pay.
- Month by month shows each month's total, when it's due and why any of it is late. Open a month to see who is owed. When some of it is ready, a button like Build September run makes a run for that month only.
Every one of these makes a draft run. Nothing is sent until you approve it and pay.
If something's held#
Affiliates missing a payout method, with an invalid wallet address, or without a required tax form are listed as held. Send reminder emails someone without a payout method; Open profile takes you to the affiliate for the rest.

Only when the button says Approve and send, which means you've connected PayPal and the run goes to PayPal. Otherwise approval prepares the run, and you still send the money and record it.
No. Downloading alone doesn't pay anyone. Upload the file to PayPal or Wise, or send the transfers, then click I completed the transfers and confirm.
Yes. Click Pay affiliates now on the Payouts page, or Pay now on the affiliate's profile. Both add everything they're owed now, this month included, to a draft run you then approve.
For runs you recorded yourself, Mark unpaid re-opens the commissions as owed. It doesn't reclaim any money already sent, so only use it if nothing went out, or you could pay twice. Runs settled through PayPal can't be marked unpaid.
The run shows Last PayPal attempt failed with the reason, and no money moved. Fix the cause and try again from the run.
Yes. Choose Pay in bulk using a file for the crypto group, send each transfer on the exact network listed, and paste the transaction IDs if you want them on record.
