Import from FirstPromoter
Bring your FirstPromoter affiliates, links, codes, campaigns and history into affixo over the FirstPromoter API.
The FirstPromoter importer pulls your program over the FirstPromoter API: affiliates, referral links, promo codes, payout history, sub-affiliates, campaigns, commission rules, domains and tier progress.
Before you start#
- In FirstPromoter, create credentials under Settings › Integrations › Manage API Keys. You need a v2 API token and your Account-ID.
- Create at least one campaign in affixo for imported codes to attach to.
Run the import#
Open the FirstPromoter tab
Go to SettingsWorkspaceImport & migration and pick FirstPromoter.
Connect
Paste the v2 API token and Account-ID, then click Next: choose what to migrate. Credentials are used for this import only and never stored.
Choose what to migrate
Everything is selected by default: campaigns, commission rules, campaign domains, campaign settings, affiliates, referral links, promo codes, referrals and commission history, payout identities, payout history, payout terms, the sub-affiliate hierarchy and tier rules. Uncheck anything you'd rather leave behind. Use Attach codes without a campaign to to choose where loose codes go, or keep Auto (recommended). Then click Preview migration.
Check the preview
Preview: what will carry over counts everything the import will bring and lists anything to know about. Nothing is written yet.
Apply
Click Apply migration. If any slugs had to change, a table lists the requested slug and the new one so you can update those live links.
After the import#
The page shows a go-live checklist. Work through it:
- Install the tracking script on your site in place of FirstPromoter's.
- Run the cookie sniff test. Paste one of your existing FirstPromoter links (for example
?fpr=jane20) and click Open & test link. It opens the link, waits for the tracking hit and confirms which affiliate gets credit. - Pay outstanding balances in FirstPromoter. Imported history counts as already paid.
- Turn affiliate email back on when you're ready, under GrowthEmail.
The Announce the move card lets you preview the announcement, send yourself a test and send it to all your affiliates, with optional weekly follow-up reminders. It can't send while affiliate email is paused.
Note
PayPal payout emails come over where FirstPromoter exposes them. Affiliates whose address isn't exposed add it again in their portal.

No. They're used for the import and never stored.
Yes. The import preserves each referral link path and your campaign domains. If a code was already taken in affixo, it's changed and listed in a remapped table so you can update those links.
No. Payout history imports as paid records. Pay any outstanding balances in FirstPromoter before you switch, because affixo starts owing $0.
Only when you tell them. The import sends no email and pauses affiliate email until you resume it. After applying, an Announce the move card lets you email them when you're ready.
